Charitable Giving

I donate a portion of each real estate commission that I receive to the First Ward Community Fund. This is an organization that I founded several years ago as a means to help children of families living in the public housing component of First Ward. The First Ward Community Fund, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation formed in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Fund raises money for educational, cultural and charitable endeavors that benefit residents of First Ward. In addition to my work in First Ward, I also support the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Trinity Episcopal School, the M. S. Society, Girls on the Run and the Crop Walk.

I realize that many unions and organizations are engaged in charitable endeavors and I regularly assist in their fund-raising efforts by donating Bobcats tickets for use at fundraisers or other charitable events. Please contact me to learn how your non-profit group can participate.
